Hey everybody... thanks for the kind words on the sketch i posted, I planned to finish it this weekend, buuut... I had multiple technical problems. I got into a big fight configuring my wireless network, then, windows vista decided to be a bitch with just about EVERYTHING.

Story short: don't install vista, don't buy cheap routers or cheap scanners with lousy tech support (coughplustek).

Believe it or not, my story is getting published in august! By Shadowline!!

Here's the story short: Jimmie Robinson, the creator of Bomb Queen,

...saw my stuff on Comicspace and told his editor Jim Valentino about it. Now Jim and Kris "editor girl" Simon are bossing me around (in a very good way!) and I'm the new cucaracha in the Shadowline team.
I mean WAY cool Beavis.

The official preview won't be out till 4 weeks from now, but I'm posting the cover and you can check out the first pages (without the lettering) here -

Lettering will be done by Dave Rothe.


Ok this took me some work to do, I even signed up to deviantart just so i could post a bunch of linkable pics.
Here's the deal, I don't wanna sound like a bitch... no, I WILL sound like a bitch but this is necessary: DON'T ask me about Image/Shadowline Submissions. ALL the info you need can be found clicking in Kris and Jim Valentino's Icon. Really, that's not up to me.


I wanna thank my mommy and daddy for keeping me fed and keeping a roof over my head while I hunchbacked over my desk and learned how to draw.
See, studying hard gets you somewhere. I don't know exactly how far, but I'll tell you when I get there

And for all that didn't believe, well... fuck you alll! I'm not rich , I can't do cool backflips and jump like David Lee Roth, I haven't conquered the world, I'm not married to a Motorbike rider who happens to also be a geek comic lover AND cooks mean spaghetti sauces, but I'll get there, oh I will. Just you wait and see..

COMISSION INFO

I got an unfinished comission for so long that's leaving me way to embarassed ... so i'm not doing any more comissions for now, sorry!

Hey, long time I update my Devart...
In my last journal, I made some free propaganda for comicspace ( [link] ) and what did I knew, that website got me in touch with Mr Joe Prado from art&Comics and he fixed me up some test scripts to work on. Pretty cool huh? I'll be posting some pages I did for runaways so far

I'm also working some things up and if everything goes right my own comic 'In Her Darkest Hour', which i posted some panels from here, and also some pages on my comicspace ( [link] ) Will be published around next semester. Those preview pages in comicspace will be re-touched, and I gotta do a cover art for it. I'll say more about it when I know for sure.

Apart from that, I'm working at a design/Illustration studio, with my 2 partners Anderson and Loocas
AAnd I still have to attend college 3 mornings per week (that continues to be the worse part)

Which all means, I'm motherfuckin busy!!

But I'm happy about it and I really hope everything works out. At the end of the year I was somewhat depressed and disincouraged (if thats a word) about the future and $$$, and I almost thought on giving up on a lot of things... But like that Hellacopters song go, nothing like good news to get rid of your blues
